Breaking Down the Hedge (#1)

It’s here! The FIRST edition of “Breaking Down the Hedge,” the weekly review of news stories and current events with commentary. Let’s get down to business.

Police State

The inhabitants of a police state experience restrictions on their mobility, and on their freedom to express or communicate political or other views, which are subject to police monitoring or enforcement. (Police State, Wikipedia)

1. Bizarre TSA “Freeze” Security Drill Caught on Camera (InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

The video shows the final 24 seconds of a 2 minute period during which travelers were ordered to “freeze” by TSA workers and were not allowed to move.

One TSA screener is heard to say, “stay right where you are,” at a man who is walking through the airport, as the other static travelers look on in bewilderment.

According to the You Tube user responsible for uploading the clip, “This video was shot within the “secure” area of the terminal, BEYOND the security gate.”

“Note that the TSA “guard” is offering no explanation, only giving harsh threats and orders to stay still. Note that there was NO event or threat taking place of any kind,” he adds.

My Take:

This is, truly, a bizarre policy. What’s even more bizarre is that people are allowing the TSA to get away with it! But I’m not surprised. The American sheeple have been letting them get away with all sorts of inappropriate behavior for years now. In fact, I blogged about this back in 2010. See “God’s Word on Full Body Scanners,” part 1 and part 2. Unfortunately, no one gave any heed to my advice, and in the two years since then, we have seen groping of individuals by TSA employees, molestation, rape, threats, harassment, lies, child porn on TSA computers, a verified epidemic of TSA employees with police histories of rape and molestation, cancer from naked body scanners (especially among TSA employees working near the machines), and more. To see articles about these incidents, here is a Google search of articles with the acronym “TSA” on InfoWars alone.

2. “Phantoms of Lost Liberty” Still Haunting Post-9/11 America (New American)

Read the article here.

Quote:

America’s role as the Superstate with the mission of making the world safe from terrorism would change our domestic politics as well. Congress would rush through passage of the USA PATRIOT (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools to resist Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism) Act, giving the federal government broad new surveillance and search-and-seizure powers. Conservative Republicans who had made a career of opposing — at least rhetorically — big government bureaucracies hastened to pass legislation creating the new Department of Homeland Security, combining 22 agencies and departments into a massive new cabinet-level department with more than 200,000 employees. Federal agents with National Security Letters were empowered to search, without court-issued warrants, library records, book purchases, Internet communications and other records revealing what Americans are reading, thinking about, and saying to one another. Those who claimed that constitutional rights were being violated were dismissed as fanatics — or worse.

My Take:

If we just take the time to allow ourselves to analyze what has taken place in our country since September 11, 2001, we will realize that there have been so many things – not just the TSA – that have been downright bizarre! What has happened to our freedoms? Our liberties? Our desire to speak up for ourselves? I think the (intended) outcome of that fateful event is best summed up by one of the commenters on that article:

We need to keep our eyes on the REACTION to 9-11, not merely 9-11. The REACTION to 9-11 is the creation of a Police State in the US under the Department of Homeland Security. It was necessary to create this Police State in preparation for the eventually intended World Socialist Police State under the United Nations.

3. 30 Examples of Why America Is No Longer a Free Country (InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

From people being harassed for paying by cash or having a food garden, to Americans being arrested for letting their children play outside – innumerable examples over the past few months alone illustrate that the United States is no longer a free country.

The nanny state is no longer just on steroids, it has turned into the Incredible Hulk as collectivism, pernicious bureaucracy, regulation, mass surveillance and outright tyranny runs wild across the country.

Here are just a selection of stories from scores of recent examples illustrating how America is ‘land of the Free, home of the brave’ no more.

My Take:

You will be surprised at some of the things going on across the country even as we speak. You may even be disgusted. DO NOT SKIP THIS ARTICLE! At the very least, read the headlines so you have an idea of what is going on!

4. Obama Appeals Against Court Ruling That Strikes Down Indefinite Detention of American Citizens (InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

Within 24 hours of a historic court ruling that struck down the indefinite detention provision of the National Defense Authorization Act, the Obama administration has appealed the ruling, emphasizing once again how the White House – while claiming to be against the measure – has aggressively pushed for it at every turn.

My Take:

The follow-up to this article is actually in #3, above. Look for it to find out whether or not Obama’s appeal was successful!

5. Sidewalk chalking provokes police (Napa Register via InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

A self-described political activist who had never been arrested, Larson said she was returning from the farmers market after buying fruits and vegetables when she started writing the statements on the sidewalk. A police officer stopped to talk to her, then left, she said.

“I was never told not to chalk the sidewalk,” said Larson, who is married and works in a wine cellar.

Five to 10 minutes later, the officer returned with her boss in an SUV, Larson said. She was first detained, then arrested for investigation of felony vandalism and booked at the Napa County jail…

The chalkings, which have to be power-washed, are logged as graffiti, he said.

My Take:

Arrested for “felony vandalism”? Are you kidding me? “Power washed”? Whaaat?!? Okay, I have kids who draw on the sidewalk with chalk. In fact, when I was a kid, I drew on the sidewalk with chalk. I see children doing it all the time, everywhere I go. They sell sidewalk chalk at Wal-mart, for crying out loud. So, if this wasn’t about what she was writing, then I can see absolutely no reason for her arrest. (Read the article to find out what she was chalking on the sidewalk.) Come to think of it, where I live (and in may other places) they hold annual sidewalk art festivals, where the sole medium is chalk. And I have never heard of it being so difficult to remove that the city was forced to use a power washer.

6. Government criminalizes rainwater collection from your own property – outrageous assault on freedom in America (Natural News)

Watch the video here.

My Take:

What do you know about Agenda 21? Please see the following article:

7. Water Securitization, Agenda 21 and the Right to Life (Occupy Corporatism)

Read the article here.

Quote:

The HIP are a UN program system devoted to researching and finding natural water resources and managing those resources found. While the UN is well aware that the necessity of water as a vital source for life means the retention of power over all life, they are well into their schemes to develop global governance over all sources of fresh, clean water.

The IPCC document HS 15332 Climate Change Impacts: Securitization of Water, Food, Soil, Health, Energy and Migration explains how the UN plans to secure resources to use at their disposal. Through the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under-developed countries are forced to sell their resources to the global Elite as “full cost recovery” to the global central bankers. Once those resources are under the complete control of the IMF they become assets to be reallocated back to the enslaved nations for a price.

This scheme makes water sources under central privatization cost more and become less accessible to those who desperately need it.

J. Gary Lawrence, adviser to former President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development said : “Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy- fixated groups and individuals in our society. This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking [Agenda 21]. So we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management or smart growth.”

Local governments and municipalities are utilizing the capture of rain-water under strict regulation. It is not meant for any individual to capture rain-water for private use. The community as a whole, under Agenda 21 control and distribute water resources to all; as long as there is enough.

My Take:

Do these people have to go through special training to use this kind of doublespeak? What the man just said was, “Although we are conspiring to implement the New World Order, and taking away the freedom of our country’s citizens, we can’t let them know that because they are crazy and stupid to believe that we are doing what we actually are doing. So, we change the phraseology we use to describe what we are doing, and get it done in secret.” Please see also the “Dublin Statement,” which is the only “binding” U.N. statement on water. Many NGO’s object to it because it does not go all the way and declare water a “human right,” which would give the U.N. the supposed moral grounds for assuming control. They are currently stepping up enforcement of these water-control plans because the U.N.’s “International Decade for Action ‘Water For Life’” ends in 2015.

Surveillance

1. Homeland Security Officials Encourage Citizens to Utilize New Anti-Terrorism Mobile FORCE 1-2 App to (Daily Finance)

Read the article here.

Quote:

The Delaware Information and Analysis Center (DIAC) now offers a mobile app to report suspicious activities in real-time by attaching a photo, sending location information, or entering details about suspicious vehicles or persons. In addition, users can choose to make their report anonymously or can include contact information for follow-up by law enforcement.

“This is a quick and easy way for citizens to help us protect our communities and we encourage them to utilize this new app to report any suspicious activity. With this app, our citizens can serve as extra eyes and ears for our law enforcement community,” said Lewis D. Schiliro, Secretary of Safety and Homeland Security. “Some of the best leads law enforcement get are from people in the community who witness potential threats to our nation’s security and take the initiative to provide a tip.”

My Take:

This is one more step in implementing the DHS’s “See Something, Say Something” campaign, encouraging – and now enabling – citizens to tattle on their neighbors. Hey, it worked for the Nazis.

2. 19 Signs That America Is Being Systematically Transformed Into A Giant Surveillance Grid (InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

They are constantly attempting to convince the American people that we are all “safer” when virtually everything that we do is watched, monitored, tracked and recorded.  Our country is being systematically transformed into a giant surveillance grid far more comprehensive than anything George Orwell ever dreamed of.  If you still believe that there is such a thing as “privacy” in this day and age, you are being delusional.  Every single piece of electronic communication is monitored and stored.  In fact, they know that you are reading this article right now.

My Take:

There is a reason that the NSA is…

3. The NSA Is Building the Country’s Biggest Spy Center (Watch What You Say) (Wired)

Read the article here.

Quote:

The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.

My Take:

“[A]n effort that was killed by Congress in 2003…” Or not. Remember the comment above about changing the terminology to hide your efforts? BTW, look up “Total Information Awareness” sometime… that’ll give you the creeps. The Wikipedia page says, “…the IAO [Information Awareness Office] was defunded by Congress in 2003. However, several IAO projects continued to be funded, and merely run under different names.” Be sure to check out footnotes 1-4:

  1. ^ Dismantling the Empire: America’s Last Best Hope By Chalmers Johnson ISBN 0-8050-9303-6 “Congress’s action did not end the Total Information Awareness program. The National Security Agency secretly decided to continue it through its private contractors.”

  4. ^ a b “U.S. Still Mining Terror Data”. Wired News. February 23, 2004.

Another quote:

Given the facility’s scale and the fact that a terabyte of data can now be stored on a flash drive the size of a man’s pinky, the potential amount of information that could be housed in Bluffdale is truly staggering. But so is the exponential growth in the amount of intelligence data being produced every day by the eavesdropping sensors of the NSA and other intelligence agencies. As a result of this “expanding array of theater airborne and other sensor networks,” as a 2007 Department of Defense report puts it, the Pentagon is attempting to expand its worldwide communications network, known as the Global Information Grid, to handle yottabytes (1024 bytes) of data. (A yottabyte is a septillion bytes—so large that no one has yet coined a term for the next higher magnitude.)

It needs that capacity because, according to a recent report by Cisco, global Internet traffic will quadruple from 2010 to 2015, reaching 966 exabytes per year. (A million exabytes equal a yottabyte.)

My Take:

Of course, the government is not secretly stealing and recording your personal communications, or your private phone calls. It will always be someone else, so you do not have to worry about privacy.
In fact, I think you’re paranoid. The American government is completely trustworthy, and would never ever violate that trust. Which leads me to another quote (just in case you don’t intend to read the whole article, you lazy slob:

Another quote:

Binney left the NSA in late 2001, shortly after the agency launched its warrantless-wiretapping program. “They violated the Constitution setting it up,” he says bluntly. “But they didn’t care. They were going to do it anyway, and they were going to crucify anyone who stood in the way. When they started violating the Constitution, I couldn’t stay.

My Take:

There you have it. The trust of every American citizen has been violated by the violation of the Constitution. What does the government do? They later legalize the unConstitutional things they have been doing so that they are no longer breaking the law. Yep, trustworthy. I’ll gladly give those guys access to my most intimate details, won’t you? (I’m not sure how you “legalize” something that is unConstitutional without amending the Constitution, but we won’t even begin to think about that. My brain hurts already…)

Eugenics

Eugenics… advocates the use of practices aimed at improving the genetic composition of a population“… “Eugenics is the self-direction of human evolution”. (Eugenics, Wikipedia)

1. US Government Legalize Sterilization for Minors Without Parental Consent (Occupy Corporatism)

Read the article here.

Quote:

Matt Bowman, senior attorney for the Alliance Defensing Freedom , explains that the mandate states that minors could be sterilized without parental permission and the procedure is covered by the health insurance. Bowman said: “She can be sterilized at no cost. Whether her parents will know and/or consent might differ by state. But the Guttmacher Institute and other abortion advocates explicitly advocated for this mandated coverage of minors so that access without parental involvement might be able to increase.”

The Guttmacher Institute asserts that parental involvement in minor decisions is not necessary – therefore if the child wants to consent to sterilization, they should be legally allowed to do so. Along with the collaboration of Planned Parenthood pushing contraception, the Guttmacher Institute expects to see dramatic drops in fertility rates which are the goal of these eugenics institutions.

My Take:

The goal of eugenics is simple: reduce the population by eliminating the “undesirables” of the world, thereby “improving” the future world, and leaving a smaller, more easily managed population for the elite to control. Note the complicity of Bill Gates (who famously stated that his vaccination campaigns were intended to reduce the global population), Planned Parenthood (abortions reduce the population, and PP was founded by eugenics proponent Margaret Sanger), and the Guttmacher Institute (which is funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, which has ties to George Soros, and which funds and works with a whole slew of organizations that promote wickedness).

2. BBC Promotes Male Castration as a Way to Live Longer (InfoWars)

Read the article here.

Quote:

One thought is that male sex hormones such as testosterone, which are largely produced in the testes, could be damaging. The researchers said the hormones could weaken the immune system or damage the heart. Castration would prevent most of the hormone from being produced, protecting the body from any damaging effect and prolonging lifespan.

Dr Min said: “It is quite possible that testosterone reduction therapy extends male lifespan…”

My Take:

Ridiculous. But, if you can appeal to people’s vanity, and convince them that they will live longer, I am sure many people would/will participate in this procedure, and, what’s more, the population is further reduced.

Final Comments

There is so much going on in the world right now. You are being lied to and propagandized by your own government. You and your children are being phased out of existence with clever ploys. Your rights and freedoms are being slowly phased out of existence through false flag events commissioned and perpetrated by your own government. Look at the facts, wake up, and help others wake up. Then, get prepared, stand up, and fight back!

Lots more to come! See you next time!

I appreciate your kind words and the fact that you have attempted to share these things with others. Blogging like this was very time-consuming (looong hours, late into the night, researching and writing), and I have a family to support, so I am unable to devote the time to continue blogging like this, as I would love to. If you wish to follow my current efforts, and have an iPhone, Android, NOOK, Kindle, etc, please install the Flipboard app and subscribe to WatchmanOnTheTower. I currently have about 22 “magazines” devoted to various subjects (including those addressed here), with over 1,000 readers. You can also look me up on facebook. Thanks!
